Workspaces built for full working days
Everything a remote worker needs from an office, set inside a working spice farm in Idukki, Kerala: internet with two backups, power that stays on, a proper desk and a quiet place to take calls.
Three ways online, in order
If one connection drops, the next one takes over. That is the whole point of having three.
Fibre broadband
Your main connection, shared over Wi-Fi in the house. It handles video calls, large uploads and everyday cloud work.
AirFiber
A separate wireless broadband connection. If the fibre goes down, work carries on over AirFiber.
Mobile internet
The third line, for the rare moment both broadband connections are down at once. Enough to stay on a call or send that file.
Speeds of up to around 90 Mbps. Power backup keeps every connection running, 24/7.
The rest of the setup
The practical things that make a full working week in the hills feel normal.
24/7 power backup
Hill-country power cuts happen, especially in the monsoon. Backup power keeps the router, the Wi-Fi and the workspaces running.
Ergonomic desks
Proper desks and supportive chairs, so an eight-hour day does not mean working from the bed.
Quiet call corners
Tucked-away spots for meetings and focus time, away from the kitchen and the rest of the house.
3 private bedrooms
A small house on purpose. Mornings are quiet and the workspaces never feel crowded.
Home-cooked Kerala food
Meals made in the farm kitchen with spices from the garden. Tell us about dietary needs when you message us.
Breaks in the spice garden
Step out between calls into a 1.5-acre garden of pepper, cardamom and coffee.
How a workday can look
India is ahead of Europe, so you can finish focused work before UK and European colleagues come online in the early afternoon.
- Early morning
Tea, and a walk through the spice garden before the laptop opens.
- Morning
Your longest focus block, while the house is quiet.
- Midday
A home-cooked Kerala lunch, seasoned with spices from the farm.
- Afternoon
Calls from a quiet corner as UK and European working hours begin.
- Evening
Log off and walk down to the Kallar river or through the village.
- Night
Dinner, then a dark, quiet hill-country night.
